​Heba Abdel-Messieh, a licensed massage therapist, brings a wealth of experience and a compassionate approach to her work at The Massage Bar. Raised in Kalamazoo, Michigan, after immigrating from Cairo, Egypt, Heba has dedicated her career to helping clients find relief from physical and emotional pain.​
With a keen understanding of the therapeutic benefits of massage, Heba offers customized treatments tailored to each client's individual needs. Her expertise in a variety of massage modalities enables her to address a wide range of conditions, from chronic pain to stress-related ailments.
Jasper Sowle, LMT (They/Them)
Jasper is a Gender Fluid Massage Practitioner here to support the regulation of your nervous system as you land into your body, deepen your relationship with yourself, and create your life to best serve you and your needs.
​Jasper lives in Kalamazoo, Michigan, graduated with a massage certificate from Institute for Massage Education at Kalamazoo Center for the Healing Arts and has been licensed for 7 years. They also taught Anatomy & Physiology for five years and intermittently taught Adaptive Massage, Advanced Massage, Kinesiology, and oversaw clinic orientation at IME.
Jasper is trained in various modalities, has years of contemplative and hands-on continuing education, and holds the focus of attuning to you and your body in order to support you as best as possible in each moment in every session. They understand that your body may need different modalities and support at different times. They use their professional training to facilitate each integrative session to support your highest good to the best of their ability.
Jasper values discovery, resolution, conversation, warmth, and healing.
When Jasper isn’t giving massage, you can likely find them traveling around town, earth stewarding, creating and selling art, exploring their passions, or educating others in various way.
Erin Brinkert, LMT
Hello! My name is Erin Brinkert. I have been a Licensed Massage Therapist for 11 years. I graduated from Everest University in 2014. I bring in several modalities to customize each massage to my clients needs. I customize in Swedish, deep tissue, cupping, hot stones, sports and dynamic stretching. As I continue my education and get certified in special areas, I will continue to add those to my therapeutic sessions.
